If you are a non-traditional student or adult whose college career may have been interrupted, you can earn your bachelor’s degree by attending our adult degree completion program at Wingate University's School of Graduate and Adult Education in downtown Matthews.

Classes are just two evenings a week. The program combines a general education core with electives and courses in one of these areas of concentration:

  • Business – Choose six courses in your field of interest to start your business career. Specialty areas include the expanding fields of computer science, finance, marketing and management.
  • Human Services – After taking core classes in human services and psychology, you will choose from electives in the field of psychology or sociology. You may further concentrate in a specific area of interest to custom-design your future career in human services – from child psychology to adulthood and aging, racial and ethnic group relations.
  • Organizational Communication – Learn how to apply effective communication skills in a variety of organizations. Your communications courses can include public relations, human resource management, intercultural communication, persuasion and more.
  • Public Safety Administration (Click for more information) *  This unique program will equip public safety personnel for leadership in the rapidly evolving world of homeland security. This multi-dimensional program will help you become a key decision maker in all aspects of public safety. Learn about issues of organizational communication, culture, public policy, sociology and social psychology. Understand the challenges and responsibilities of pubic safety from a global perspective to advance your career.

Tuition:

$260.00 per credit hour or $780 per three-credit hour.
